Construction and technology
The SUB 12 S2 active subwoofer from Canton works on the bass reflex principle with downfire passive radiator . To guarantee precise mechanical performance, it is equipped with a lushly dimensioned drive including the latest generation wave surround technology. The multiple folded wave surround allows, compared to conventional surrounds, a much longer stroke and reduces sound distortion. Titanium is used as the diaphragm material. Thanks to its integrated Room Compensation technology, you can adjust the subwoofer precisely to your given room acoustics and personal listening habits. The SUB 12 S2 in the classic cube design has a powerful 750 watt power amplifier with high and low level inputs and provides an enormous low frequency foundation despite its living room-friendly dimensions.
