The SUB 501 active subwoofer from Canton works according to the bass reflex principle with a downfire passive radiator. To guarantee precise mechanical performance, it is equipped with a generously dimensioned drive unit including the latest generation of wave surround technology. Compared to conventional surrounds, the multiple folded wave surround enables a significantly greater excursion and reduces sound distortion. Titanium is used as the cone material. Thanks to its integrated room compensation technology with three pre-set sound profiles, you can adapt the subwoofer precisely to your existing room acoustics and personal listening habits. The SUB 501 in the classic cube design has a powerful 750 watt power amplifier with high and low level inputs and provides an enormous bass foundation despite its living room-friendly dimensions.
