The GLE Series speakers are technically convincing and visually appealing: thanks to these qualities, the attractive and versatile GLE models have been among the most popular speakers in Europe for many years. Now we have completely revised the successful GLE model range - both visually and technically. What has remained is the strong price-performance ratio and, of course, the convincingly good Canton sound. Our brand-new GLE 50 centre speaker is the absolute centre of attention: with its two 154 mm titanium bass-midrange drivers, it performs precisely and dynamically at all times in a closed cabinet. With the support of the 25 mm tweeter with aluminium-manganese cone, it is perfectly equipped to optimise the sound of your home cinema system at home. The outstanding technical equipment ensures great listening pleasure with the best Canton sound for a long time.

The technology: Better than ever

Striving for the best sound means a lot of hard work and the use of the latest technology. The GLE speakers benefit from the constant progress we make in loudspeaker development, both visually and technically. First and foremost, we would like to mention our outstanding titanium drivers, which have been incorporated into the current GLE series. Two 154 mm titanium drivers in a closed cabinet reproduce the lowest tones clearly and powerfully and guarantee a balanced and neutral midrange with excellent detail resolution. They are equipped with sturdy polycarbonate baskets, powerful magnet drives and the latest generation of triple-folded wave surrounds, allowing the speakers to perform very dynamically with minimal distortion. The perfect complement comes in the form of our mature and well-proven aluminium-manganese tweeter system with 25 mm dome: a precisely calculated waveguide and the optimised 2.5-way crossover enable reproduction up to 40,000 Hertz - with ideal sound radiation even off the main listening axis.

Discreet appearance - powerful acoustics

The GLE 50 2.5-way centre speaker has a modern and discreet design. Thanks to its harmonious proportions and the attractive cabinet versions in black decor, white decor or makassar decor, the GLE 50 Center feels at home in any living ambience. The front of the GLE 50 Center is finished in matt black or satin white. A decorative feature of the current GLE series is the black fabric cover, which is magnetically attached to the baffle. It is generously rounded at the corners, giving the centre a distinctive, attractive face. The well-proportioned GLE 50 centre can be placed on or in a TV unit below a TV. Alternatively, it can be used as a centre speaker on the optionally available LS 660 speaker stand, which is both acoustically and visually perfect. Measuring 50 x 17 x 27 centimetres, the solidly built centre weighs 8.6 kilograms.
