Flawless surfaces in silk matt or high-gloss lacquers and the elegant walnut real wood veneer with an expressive finish emphasise the premium claim of the Townus 100.
Aesthetic design
The Townus 100 models are slim 3-way floorstanding speakers that impress with their harmonious proportions and understated elegance. The exquisite finish of the high-quality enclosures makes them an eye-catcher in any room. The Townus 100 speakers are characterised by rounded cabinet edges that not only optimise sound dispersion, but also give them a modern and elegant look. The screwless integration of the four drivers into the 230 millimetre wide baffle is achieved using high-quality aluminium rings manufactured using the seamless diamond-cut process. This creates a seamless and aesthetically pleasing look. The Townus 100 models offer further visual highlights such as generously rounded, sound-transparent fabric panels that adhere magnetically to the baffles and slim plinths with four height-adjustable metal feet that provide a solid base for the floor-standing speakers. The large bass reflex channels in a downfire arrangement are concealed in the base of the enclosure and stimulate the listening room acoustically evenly and effectively.
Design and technology
The Townus 100 flagship models are characterised by their effective design, which features multiple bracing inside the enclosure. The midrange drivers are positioned at the top of the baffles and have separate volumes. As a result, the cabinets offer the high-quality drivers with titanium cones ideal conditions for a powerful sound image with dynamic bass and detailed mids. The bass drivers have stiff and low-distortion double-cone cones with low-loss wave surrounds, which enables the Townus 100 loudspeakers to always play precisely, even at high volumes. Thanks to the patented SC technology, the 192 mm bass duo in the downfire bass reflex cabinet ensures powerful and precise bass without the bass speaker cones deflecting uncontrollably at low frequencies. A precisely calculated waveguide optimises the sound dispersion and coupling of the 25 mm tweeter with aluminium oxide ceramic, resulting in improved reproduction up to 40,000 hertz.

Use the Townus 100 as the main speaker and combine it with other models from the Townus series. The Townus 50 is recommended as a centre speaker, which harmonises perfectly with the Townus 100 speakers and reproduces dialogue and voices in films and TV shows clearly and precisely. The compact Townus 30 speakers are ideal for effective surround sound. These complement the overall system and provide a realistic sound backdrop that puts you right in the centre of the action. To take your home cinema system to a new level, we recommend adding the Townus Sub 12 subwoofer. With its high power amplifier output and a 300 mm titanium subwoofer chassis, it delivers impressive bass and ensures an even more intense listening experience.
