Statutory Warranty Rights

Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by our voluntary warranties. These rights exist in relation to the seller and apply regardless of whether an additional voluntary manufacturer’s warranty from Canton exists.

Voluntary Canton Manufacturer’s Warranty

In addition to the statutory warranty, Canton provides a voluntary manufacturer’s warranty of 5 years for all passive loudspeakers. For all passive loudspeakers of the Reference Series 2023, Canton provides a voluntary manufacturer’s warranty of 10 years. For active and semi-active loudspeakers as well as electronic components, Canton grants a warranty of 2 years.

The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. The warranty does not apply only to the first purchaser. If the device is passed on or sold within the warranty period, the warranty is transferred to the subsequent owner. The original invoice is required to make a warranty claim.

Warranty claims are only valid when the original packaging is used. Transport damage and damage caused by improper use are excluded.

The warranty period is not extended by the replacement of components within the warranty period. This applies to all loudspeakers purchased from an authorized Canton specialist dealer.
